Kiss Me Deadly
Kiss Me Deadly represents the coming together of four individuals for the sole purpose of making music. style aside, the songs created by this group suggest one underlying principle: music as an end unto itself. A distinctly honest and dedicated band, Kiss Me Deadly hopes to retain its freedom of sound and integrity of action for as long as it exists.

Asthetics are a different question altogether. Kiss Me Deadly blends together a variety of punk and indie stylings. Lyrics range from social commentary to personal narrative and everything in between. Each song is a work of individual standing and thoughtfulness, and although at times finding a link between different tracks may seem difficult, a binding undercurrent of restrained energy, focused into bursts of chaos and emotion runs constant all throughout their song writing. Kiss Me Deadly tries to bring forth this release in the their live shows as an example of the simple desire to immerse themselves in their sets, as well as the audience too.

Direct comparisons can be drawn to bands such as Fugazi (in as much as every post-punk band springs off of their sound), the rawness of Indian Summer, the electronic side of the Firebird Band, and perhaps an overall edge reminiscent of the D.C. scene. Although there exists an extreme difficulty in pinning down specific comparisons to other groups, Kiss Me Deadly draws influence and inspiration from King Crimson and the Who as much as U2 and Daft Punk. Similarly, they have shared bills with bands such as rockets red glare, rainer maria, the lapse, kolya, moment, the frenetics, atom and his package, pinback, the gloria record, helen of troy, i am the resurrection, the constantines, three penny opera, and the convocation of. At this time, the only prerequisite for a show is an open-minded crowd and a p.a.

Kiss Me Deadly's debut full length, Travel Light, represents a snapshot in time, captured and developed to be the best example of the diversity and genre-bending Kiss Me Deadly hope to acheive.
