Genuine music for the soul.

"It has been almost 18 months since Finn began recording with Gabe Swarts at Engine Room Recording, and she has finally been able to lay some of the demons that appeared on the last album to rest. Finn has always worn emotions on her sleeve, or in this case in revealingly expressive facial features exposed by her signature short haircut. “I noticed that I wrote my first song in a major key for the most part the other day, which was really fun for me,” she laughs. “It’s crazy to think that I would ever write happy music, but here I am.”

Finn’s voice holds a convincing twang accompanying acoustic guitar for much of X WATERS while maintaining a controlled, pulsating power so strong it could knock you over. “We did a Sofar Cleveland show and you could hear a pin drop,” a wide-eyed Finn says about one intense performance of the song 'Seasons'." -- BriteWinter.com

Oldboy
Oldboy is a Cleveland based Rock/ Folk/ Roots band. A 6 piece, sometimes more, sometimes less. They enjoy playing local venues and festivals.

At the band’s helm and on lead vocals is Shawn Brewster. Originally solo, he found Michael Kinsella and formed the band.

Backing Shawn in vocals and manning his “2 string bass” is Michael Kinsella. On guitar is Patrick Stephan. Shelby Sangdahl joins them on cello. Kevin Suman on drums. And Stacey Mielnik sings with the band.

Oldboy understands the blue collar mentality of musicians working hard to put together good music, and good shows. Making a night we can all remember is very important to them. Oldboy has played with national acts such as John Oates, Langhorne Slim, Nathaniel Rateliff and the Wheel, Hot water music, Joe Pug, and The Low Anthem.

Oldboy released their debut full length album Covered in Sound at the end of 2012. The album according to Cleveland Scene Magazine has a ” cool, cinematic quality to it”. The band wanted to keep the album production in their hometown, so they recorded it at the Whiteout Audio Studios in Cleveland.
